Baghdad: Defending champions Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya were held to a 1-1 draw by Naft Maysan in their match this evening at Al-Karkh Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Iraqi Premier League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Naft Maysan took the lead through Senegalese professional Deme Daouda in the 57th minute. The match saw Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya equalize from a penalty kick successfully converted by Mohammed Jawad in the 74th minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya currently holds 4 points and sits in ninth place in the league standings, while Naft Maysan has accumulated 3 points, placing them in sixteenth position.
