Diwaniyah: The Director of Water Resources in Diwaniyah, Musafir al-Shibli, announced that engineering and technical teams, in cooperation with the Iraqi General Company, have removed water hyacinth from the Diwaniyah River.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Shibli stated that the efforts are focused on maintaining the smooth flow of water and ensuring the continued delivery of water allocations to beneficiaries. The initiative also aims to enhance the efficiency of the waterway within the district.
