Mosul: A drug dealer was arrested in Mosul in possession of large quantities of narcotic pills. Security forces apprehended the individual as he entered the city from areas located west of the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source in the Nineveh Police confirmed that the arrest was part of a security operation, which led to the discovery of a substantial amount of narcotics in the suspect’s possession. The security forces have confiscated the seized narcotics, and the suspect has been taken to the Nineveh Police Command headquarters.

The source further stated that the suspect is currently undergoing investigation to complete the legal procedures against him. He will be referred to the competent judicial authorities to face charges related to drug trafficking activities.
