Foreign Minister Advocates for Peaceful Solutions and Dialogue with Iranian Ambassador


Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, on Sunday, that peaceful solutions and dialogue are the best option for resolving crises.



According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that “Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, and delivered a message from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.”



The meeting focused on the latest developments in the negotiation process aimed at de-escalating tensions and highlighted the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to reach peaceful solutions that contribute to reducing tensions and enhancing stability in the region.



“The Minister affirmed that peaceful solutions and dialogue represent the best option for resolving crises in a way that preserves the security of the region’s countries and the interests of their peoples,” according to the statement.
