Baghdad: The Karkh Anti-Crime Directorate has successfully apprehended a suspect involved in the snatching of women’s purses in the Mansour district. The arrest was part of an operation conducted by the Mansour Division, which focused on targeting individuals exploiting the vulnerability of women in alleys and side streets.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Karkh Police Command revealed that the operation commenced with the formation of a specialized team. The team conducted a thorough investigation, collecting critical information that led to the identification of the suspect’s identity and location. Technical expertise played a crucial role in this process.

Once the necessary legal approvals were secured, the authorities set up a strategic ambush, leading to the successful arrest of the suspect. Following his capture, legal procedures were initiated, and he was referred to the relevant authorities to face legal consequences.
