Al-walid: The commander of the border forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Abdul Wahab Sakr, visited the Second Border Region Command in the Al-Walid district, located west of Anbar. This region is crucial as it oversees the Iraqi-Syrian border strip extending from the Euphrates River in the south.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his visit, Lieutenant General Sakr held a security conference with commanders of various formations and units. He received a comprehensive briefing from the Second Border Region Commander, which outlined key security activities, operational readiness, and challenges encountered in the area.

Further on his tour, Lieutenant General Sakr inspected the Iraqi-Syrian-Jordanian border triangle, underscoring the importance of sustained efforts to enhance security performance and achieve operational efficiency. Additionally, he visited the Sixth Border Brigade, conducting another security conference to evaluate ongoing field duties. He took the opportunity to meet with soldiers, listening to their concerns and directing the necessary authorities to address them as per legal and administrative protocols.
