Baghdad: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the commencement of applications for the top 20% of institute graduates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed in a press release that the online application form is now accessible for these graduates to apply for admission to relevant colleges and departments for the 2026/2027 academic year. The process aims to facilitate the academic progression of top-performing students into higher education institutions.

The Ministry further noted that institute representatives are tasked with entering the data of these outstanding students through the Studies, Planning, and Follow-up portal until September 10, 2026. Following this, the application portal will be available for students to confirm their choices via the ‘Qadam Platform’ application or the Studies, Planning, and Follow-up portal (https://dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq) from September 13, 2026, to September 27, 2026.
