Baghdad: A suspect was arrested on terrorism charges, and another was arrested under Article 406 of the Penal Code in Diyala. A joint security force from the Diyala Police and Intelligence Directorate detachments arrested a suspect wanted under Article (4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law, following a security operation based on precise intelligence in the Al-Muqdadiyah district, northeast of Baquba.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the necessary legal procedures were taken against the suspect, and he was referred to the competent authorities as part of ongoing efforts to pursue wanted individuals and enhance security and stability in the province.

The source added that a force from the Bani Saad Police, in a separate operation, arrested another suspect wanted under Article (406) of the Iraqi Penal Code.
