Ministry of Education to Launch First Specialized Exhibition at Baghdad International Fairgrounds

Baghdad: The Ministry of Education is gearing up to open its first specialized exhibition, which will consolidate the ministry’s diverse array of products in one location. This initiative is set to take place at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds and will aim to provide a platform for showcasing scientific, intellectual, cultural, and artistic achievements, as well as the innovative and creative capabilities of both staff and students.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education released a statement detailing that the inaugural meeting of the relevant committee was chaired by the Ministry’s Scientific Undersecretary, Mahdi Saleh Al-Awadi. The meeting focused on discussing the overall concept of the exhibition, determining the event’s scope, operational mechanisms, and the nature of the pavilions where exhibits will be displayed.

Each pavilion will have a dedicated theme aimed at presenting educational challenges through models and designs directly to relevant stakeholders. To ensure quality and relevance, a specialized committee will review submissions from various directorates and select works of intellectual and artistic merit for inclusion in the exhibition. The event will also be promoted internationally, featuring poetry readings and live discussion sessions in multiple languages.

The committee is scheduled to reconvene next Monday to discuss the formation of subcommittees and the nomination of two experts from each directorate to participate in the exhibition.
