Baghdad: The Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a robust response to the recent accusations from the Israeli Foreign Ministry targeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, calling the claims “slanders and lies” indicative of a “cowardly and corrupt mentality.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, released today, condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration. The Ministry accused Netanyahu and his “criminal gang” of committing genocide in Gaza, which, it claims, has brought shame upon the people of Israel and contributed to regional and global instability. The statement declared that the legal and political immunities enjoyed by Netanyahu’s administration are now obsolete.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry had previously attacked President Erdogan, describing him as an “anti-Semitic dictator” with ambitions to extend aggression towards Syria. In a retaliatory statement, Ankara criticized Israeli institutions for allegedly functioning like a “Goebbels propaganda machine” and asserted that the international community no longer believes Netanyahu’s administration’s narratives.
