Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met this evening with eminent scholar Sheikh Abdul-Razzaq Abdul-Rahman Al-Saadi to discuss various issues related to the Iraqi landscape. The meeting focused on government efforts aimed at supporting stability, advancing reform initiatives, and consolidating civil peace within the nation.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh Al-Saadi expressed his support and appreciation for the government’s achievements in combating corruption and advancing economic reform. He noted improvements in government performance and services, as well as successes in strengthening Iraq’s regional and international relations. These efforts, he said, are crucial in building the state and enhancing its ability to safeguard its interests and maintain the independence of its national decision-making.
The statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office also highlighted Sheikh Al-Saadi’s commendation of efforts to fulfill national sovereignty requirements.
