Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the seizure of 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and the arrest of three drug traffickers.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that, following intelligence efforts by the Ministry of Interior’s Senior Undersecretary and under the supervision of the Central Investigative Court in Rusafa, teams from the Special Investigations and Technical Departments of the General Directorate seized 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.

The statement revealed that the drugs had been concealed in a camouflaged manner inside white cement. Additionally, three individuals involved in trafficking the narcotics were apprehended as part of the operation.

The ministry emphasized that drug traffickers’ attempts to disguise and conceal their illicit substances would not provide them with a safe haven, underscoring its personnel’s determination to relentlessly pursue traffickers and dealers.
