Kirkuk: The Parliamentary Oil, Gas, and Natural Resources Committee has conducted an in-depth review of the contracts and employment procedures of the North Oil Company. The discussion focused on the integrity of the processes for accepting trainees and security guards, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee’s visit to the North Oil Company was led by MP Kulsal Mohammed Al-Mukhlis and included MPs Mohammed Ali Al-Nuaimi and Kawa Abdul-Qadir Hassan. This visit was part of the committee’s initiative to oversee the company’s operations and address issues related to the oil sector within the Kirkuk Governorate.

During the session with the company’s Director General, Faisal Hammadi, several key topics were addressed. These included the mechanisms for assigning positions and ensuring they align with existing regulations and directives. The committee emphasized the necessity of maintaining a balanced representation of the governorate’s communities in these assignments to ensure equitable distribution of responsibilities.

The committee further stressed the need for increased transparency in the management of administrative and employment files and contracts. They highlighted the importance of monitoring procedures to safeguard the rights of the governorate’s residents while upholding the efficiency of state institutions.
