Iraqi Meteorological Organization Predicts Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures Across the Country


Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has forecasted clear skies and a rise in temperatures across Iraq in the coming days. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the organization highlighted that Wednesday’s weather will be generally clear with some clouds in the northern region, and temperatures are expected to be slightly higher than the previous day.



The statement detailed the maximum temperatures expected on Wednesday for various Iraqi governorates: Dohuk 36°C, Sulaimaniyah 37°C, Erbil 38°C, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Anbar 40°C, Baghdad and Diyala 41°C, Salah al-Din, Babylon, and Karbala 42°C, Wasit, Diwaniyah, and Muthanna 43°C, Najaf and Maysan 44°C, with Dhi Qar and Basra reaching 45°C.



The organization further indicated that Thursday’s weather will remain generally clear with some clouds in the northern region. Temperatures are predicted to rise slightly in the central and northern regions, while remaining similar to the previous day in the southern region.



The forecast concluded with an outlook for Friday and Saturday, noting that Friday will see clear skies with temperatures mirroring Thursday’s, and Saturday’s weather will also be generally clear. Temperatures are expected to remain similar to Friday’s in the central and northern regions, with a slight increase anticipated in the southern region.
