Baghdad: The National Security Service announced on Tuesday that more than 500 suspects have been arrested as part of Operation Shadow of Justice, which is currently underway.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, National Security Service spokesman Arshad al-Hakim stated that the operation is being conducted in coordination with the judicial authorities. It involves executing both previous and current arrest warrants across Baghdad and various provinces.
Al-Hakim further explained that the operation is ongoing, with efforts continuing to pursue the remaining individuals wanted by authorities. The large-scale operation signifies a significant crackdown on suspects, highlighting the collaboration between the National Security Service and judicial bodies to uphold law and order.
