President Stresses Importance of Coexistence for Khanaqin’s Development


Baghdad: During a meeting with a delegation from Khanaqin, President Nizar Amidi emphasized that coexistence and fraternity among the city’s communities are the foundation for development and improving its situation.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi affirmed that these elements are fundamental to the development and progress of Khanaqin. A press release from the Presidency stated that President Amidi met with a delegation of dignitaries and prominent figures from the Khanaqin district at the Peace Palace in Baghdad.



The meeting, which was attended by Minister of Justice Khalid Shawani, focused on discussing the district’s service and development needs and exploring ways to address them. The President underscored the importance of fostering understanding and cooperation to preserve the social fabric and strengthen mutual trust among the communities. He also highlighted the need to listen to the demands of Khanaqin’s people and ensure relevant institutions address these issues.



The delegation expressed their appreciation to the President for his attention to the district’s affairs and stressed the importance of continuing efforts to improve services and social conditions in the city. They commended the President’s dedication to addressing their demands and finding solutions in collaboration with relevant departments and institutions.
