Baghdad: The head of the Iraqi Media Network (IMN), Karim Hammadi, met with the head of the Federal Public Service Council, Saad Abdul Hamid Al-Saadi, to discuss strengthening cooperation.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement issued by the Federal Public Service Council highlighted the meeting between Hammadi and Al-Saadi, focusing on enhancing media and institutional cooperation. The discussions underscored the partnership between the Council and the Iraqi Media Network, emphasizing the constitutional and legal duties of the Federal Public Service Council as outlined in its amended Law No. (4) of 2009. This law plays a role in regulating public service affairs and establishing principles of justice, equal opportunities, and transparency.

The statement also mentioned that both parties emphasized the role of the Iraqi Media Network in informing the public about the work of state institutions and conveying their activities to citizens. The head of the network expressed readiness to support the media message and raise awareness about the Council’s duties and responsibilities.

Furthermore, both sides agreed to enhance cooperation by preparing informational materials and awareness programs. These initiatives aim to simplify the work of the council and the mechanisms for providing its services, raise community awareness regarding public service, and enhance confidence in constitutional institutions. This collaboration seeks to enshrine a culture of transparency, efficiency, and equal opportunities.
