Baghdad: The Supreme Hajj and Umrah Authority has announced an extension for the period during which citizens can visit their offices in Baghdad and other provinces to receive refunds for Hajj application fees. This extension will last until Thursday, September 10, 2026, with offices remaining open daily until 6:00 PM.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the extension decision was made to provide citizens with more time to complete their refund procedures while minimizing the risk of overcrowding. The Authority has urged eligible individuals to make use of this extended period by visiting their offices within the designated timeframe.

Furthermore, the Authority has confirmed that its offices will remain open during the upcoming official holidays, specifically on Friday and Saturday. This measure is intended to ensure that all visitors can be accommodated and that refund applications are processed efficiently.
