Basra: Graduates of engineering and science departments in Basra organized a large march today, starting from the Basra Oil Company – Al-Zaqoura and heading towards the Oil Tankers Company, to protest the lack of job opportunities. During the march, they demanded their legitimate rights, which have been neglected by the federal government and the Ministry of Oil, including the provision of job opportunities and fair treatment for the people of Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the graduates affirmed their intention to continue demonstrating until their demands are met. The protest highlights ongoing frustrations among educated youth in Basra regarding employment issues, as they call for action from national authorities to address their grievances.
