Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the “Enkidu” and “Huroof” volunteer teams, unveiled the “Green Skills and Jobs: From Climate Challenges to Youth Opportunities” project during a well-attended workshop featuring substantial participation from both officials and youth groups.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mahmoud Al-Laithi, head of the Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce, highlighted that the workshop program covered several crucial themes, including climate challenges and job opportunities. The discussions also reviewed the current environmental impacts in the governorate and explored ways to transform these into promising investment opportunities for young people.

Al-Laithi announced the initiation of training programs designed to equip young people with modern skills in areas such as renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable agriculture. Additionally, a special form was launched for the registration and reception of sustainable youth projects to provide the necessary support and empowerment to their owners.
