Badr Parliamentary Bloc Denies Veto Against Qasim Atta’s Nomination for Ministry of Interior


Baghdad: The Badr parliamentary bloc has firmly denied claims of opposing the nomination of Lieutenant General Qasim Atta for the Ministry of Interior.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the bloc issued a press release stating, “There is absolutely no truth to the reports claiming that the Badr parliamentary bloc has a veto against the nomination of Lieutenant General Qasim Atta al-Moussawi for the Ministry of Interior.” The statement reaffirmed the bloc’s support for the State of Law Coalition’s nominee, underscoring their confidence in the Prime Minister and describing Atta as “a towering figure among the heroes of victory and the most capable of leading the most important security institutions.”
