Baghdad: Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri convened with the Cultural Coordination Committee to deliberate on the pivotal role of culture and media in the present era, focusing on the necessity of conveying the truth to the public and enhancing societal awareness.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Al-Amiri’s office revealed that the discussions with the Coordination Committee touched upon a range of political and economic issues and challenges currently facing the nation. The dialogue also explored strategies to support the government’s reform agenda, tackle corruption, and foster integrity within the country.

The meeting underscored the significance of endorsing a responsible media and cultural discourse grounded in accurate information. The participants stressed the need to eschew misinformation and rumors, as doing so is crucial for bolstering public trust in national institutions and reinforcing stability and national values.
