Weather Forecast: Iraq to Experience Cloudy Skies, Rain, and Temperature Drop


Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has predicted a shift in weather patterns over the coming days, with variations in cloud cover and temperatures across different regions.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the forecast indicates that on Sunday, the central and southern regions of Iraq will experience clear skies, while the northern region will see partly cloudy weather accompanied by rain. The organization has noted that winds will vary in direction, ranging from light to moderate, and temperatures will remain consistent with those recorded on the previous day across all regions.



The current temperature in Baghdad registered a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius, with a maximum expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius. The meteorological statement further outlines that Monday’s weather will continue to be clear in the central and southern regions, while the northern region will maintain its partly cloudy conditions with rain. A drop in temperatures is anticipated in the central and northern regions, whereas the southern region will experience temperatures similar to the preceding day. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, predominantly from the northwest.



Looking ahead to Tuesday, clear weather is forecasted for the entire country. Temperatures in the central and northern regions will remain steady compared to the previous day, while a decrease is expected in the southern region. Winds will persist as light to moderate, coming from the northwest.
