Baghdad: The Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, has called for the activation of parent councils, emphasizing the importance of support from those who are able to contribute to their schools. This call to action comes as educational institutions begin a new academic cycle.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement from al-Jubouri’s media office highlighted that during his meetings with teaching staff in their first week back at work, the Minister reiterated the need for active participation from parents. He stressed that parent councils play a crucial role in the development and support of schools, urging community members to assist in enhancing educational standards.
