26 Killed and Wounded in Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon


Beirut: Israel intensified its airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon on Friday evening, resulting in three fatalities and injuring 23 others, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The strikes targeted multiple locations, affecting the Tyre and Nabatieh regions in the south, along with the Bekaa Valley in the east.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health detailed that five towns were specifically targeted in the strikes. In Nabatieh, two young men were killed by an Israeli drone attack while riding a motorcycle, as per the official National News Agency.



Further reports indicated that in Al-Ramadiyah, a town within the Tyre district located more than 10 kilometers from the border, an Israeli airstrike on a house resulted in one fatality and 15 injuries. Among the injured were six rescue workers, along with three women and two children, as stated by the Ministry of Health.



Additional incidents were reported in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, where three people, including a woman, sustained injuries. In the town of Mayfadoun, four individuals, comprising three women, were also injured. In the Eastern Lebanon region, an airstrike in the Western Bekaa area injured a Syrian man, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
