Hillah: A wanted man was arrested on terrorism charges in one of the districts of Babylon. Security forces arrested a wanted terrorist south of Hillah, the capital of Babil Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source stated, “A joint force from the National Security Service and Babil Police arrested the wanted man in an ambush in the Al-Shomali district, south of Hillah.” The source explained that the suspect is a resident of Baghdad Governorate and attempted to enter Babil from the south via the Al-Shomali district.

The source added that the police have transferred the suspect to the relevant authorities for investigation.
