Baghdad: Baghdad International Airport issued a notice on Saturday regarding currency exchange procedures for travelers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the notice stated, “Baghdad International Airport advises passengers whose travel requires currency exchange to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flight. This is due to the closure of several exchange bureaus operating at the airport by the Central Bank of Iraq, which may lead to congestion and delays in the currency exchange process.”

It added, “Therefore, we urge the passengers concerned to arrive well before their flight to avoid any delays that may affect their travel arrangements.”
