Baghdad: Oil Minister Bassem Mohammed Khudair announced on Saturday that export capacity has been increased to more than three million barrels per day. In a press statement, the minister revealed, “Crude oil export capacity has increased to more than three million barrels per day.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iraq has been able to export three million barrels of oil per day since the beginning of September. The government plans to further boost export capacity to five million barrels of oil per day following the completion of strategic pipelines extending to Fishakhpur and Banias, as well as expanding export outlets in the Strait of Hormuz.
