Basra: The Basra government and the parliamentary oil and gas committee are collaborating on the implementation of a five-year plan focused on social benefit projects. The local government in Basra convened with the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee to discuss this strategic plan’s execution.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at the Basra Oil Company headquarters and was attended by key figures including the head of the provincial council, Khalaf al-Badran, and the deputy governor of Basra, Zaid al-Amara, among other officials. The discussions centered on enhancing coordination among relevant authorities to follow up on priority projects and files.
The attendees highlighted the necessity of integrating efforts and expediting procedures for strategic projects. These projects aim to improve services, promote development, and serve the people of Basra Governorate effectively.
