Baghdad: The Kirkuk Court of Appeals announced the activation of the electronic payment system in its judicial facilities and affiliated courts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the court explained that “this step comes as a continuation of the package of modernization reforms adopted by the Supreme Judicial Council, aimed at digitizing the judicial system and developing mechanisms for providing services to citizens.” The statement added, “Activating this system represents a qualitative leap in how litigants deal with financial procedures related to lawsuits and official transactions, as clients can now complete payments electronically without having to wait in traditional service queues.”
