Baghdad: A joint force in Basra carried out a security operation that resulted in the arrest of 13 foreign nationals violating residency and nationality laws. The Basra Police Command stated in a press release: “A joint force, comprised of personnel from the Al-Ribat Police Station, residency intelligence detachments, the local intelligence unit, and emergency response units under the command of the Al-Ribat Police Station Director, conducted a targeted operation as part of the regional security plan, resulting in the arrest of 13 foreign nationals violating residency and nationality laws.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out as part of ongoing monitoring and field investigations of violators. The detainees were referred to the appropriate authorities, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them.
