Baghdad: The Iraqi Drilling Company has successfully completed the rehabilitation of well FH/61 in the Al-Faihaa field, situated in Basra Governorate. The technical and engineering team reached a depth of 4,545 meters to the Yamama formation, working on behalf of the operating company, Kuwait Energy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company’s media office revealed in a press release that the rehabilitation was conducted using the IDC-45 workover rig, which boasts a capacity of 1,000 horsepower. The work adhered to the specified technical program and met the operational requirements of the field.

The statement further noted that this achievement is part of the Iraqi Drilling Company’s ongoing efforts to enhance its well workover activities. The company aims to leverage the capabilities of its equipment and the expertise of its staff to efficiently conduct oil operations across various fields in Iraq.
