Baghdad: Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha met with Dr. Mohammed Duman, Secretary General of the United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA). During the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the areas of local administration, urban development, and service improvement. An official invitation was extended to Kirkuk Governorate to join the organization, which would enhance its presence and cooperation with cities and local governments at both the regional and international levels.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the 20th Conference of the Arab Towns Organization commenced yesterday in Dhofar, Oman, with the participation of the Kirkuk Governor, Baghdad Mayor Ammar Musa Kadhim, and the Iraqi Ambassador to Oman, Qais Al-Amri.
