Oil Prices Surpass $99 Per Barrel Amid Regional Tensions


Global oil prices rose on tuesday to levels exceeding $99 a barrel:lobal oil prices rose on Tuesday to levels exceeding $99 a barrel, driven by escalating tensions in the region and fears of disruptions to energy supplies following Houthi attacks on cities and energy facilities in southern Saudi Arabia. Brent crude climbed to nearly $99 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose to over $94, amid growing concerns about continued unrest that could affect oil flows and shipping in the region.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attacks on several Saudi energy facilities caused fires and temporarily halted some operations, while the attacks on cities in the south of the Kingdom resulted in injuries to 73 people.
