Baghdad: Electricity Minister Ali Saadi Wahib emphasized the importance of completing Siemens projects and supporting the electrical grid.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister’s media office issued a press release detailing that Ali Saadi Wahib met with the German Charg© d’Affaires to Iraq, Hindia Farah, at the ministry headquarters. The discussions focused on prospects for joint cooperation in the field of electrical energy.
The statement added that the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Iraq and Germany. They highlighted the need to continue work on completing Siemens projects in the electricity sector, which are expected to support and improve the efficiency of the electrical grid. Additionally, they discussed several files of mutual interest.
Wahib affirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing partnerships with reputable international companies and expediting the implementation of projects that serve the electricity sector in Iraq.
