Baghdad: The Cabinet has decided to suspend all foreign delegations for state employees, whether centrally or self-funded. Delegation approval is now restricted to the relevant minister and only permitted in extreme cases.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision includes a reduction in delegation allocations by 60% in the general budget, sub-budgets, and through transfers from other budget lines. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the only exception to these reductions.
