Cairo: The Iraqi national youth athletics team secured the gold medal in the javelin throw at the 12th Arab Athletics Championships for Under-18s, which concluded this evening in Cairo.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the medal was claimed by athlete Mohammed Khaled, who achieved a distance of 63.39 meters, outperforming competitors from Egypt and Morocco.
