Strait of hormuz: The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy targeted a US SEAL Drone Explorer-class unmanned surface vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agency explained that the SEAL Drone Explorer is a surface vessel approximately 7 meters long, with a high degree of seaworthiness, and is equipped with cameras, communication systems, and various sensors for reconnaissance and surveillance missions.

It added that this type of vessel was previously used by the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet and Task Force 59, which it said was based in Bahrain and established to develop a network of unmanned vessels and artificial intelligence systems for the US Navy.
