Kirkuk: A thermal camera belonging to the Kirkuk Operations Commando Brigade was subjected to gunfire from an unknown source. The Security Media Cell announced on Saturday that this incident occurred in a rugged area overlooking the banks of the Zab River, within the Nineveh Operations Command sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attack resulted in damage to the camera, but no casualties were reported. In response, the forces holding the ground have initiated a wide-scale search operation in the area to identify and pursue the source of the gunfire.
