Maysan: The Maysan Police Command has implemented security cordons on the streets of the province in response to drone attacks aimed at Saudi Arabia that were launched from within the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, Ali Falih al-Zaidi, has taken decisive action by ordering the dismissal of the Maysan Operations Commander. An investigative committee has also been formed to thoroughly examine the situation, following confirmation that the attacks on Saudi Arabia originated from within Maysan province.
