Baghdad: Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, has agreed to a request from Iran to conduct a joint investigation into the recent discovery of drone launch platforms near the Iraqi-Iranian border.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the approval for a collaborative inquiry was announced by the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Numan. The press release highlighted that the decision was made in response to a formal request from the Iranian side, aiming to address the discovery of the drone launch platforms and potentially enhance bilateral cooperation in regional security matters.
