Hurghada: Dr. Jabbar Jawdi, Head of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and Director General of the Cinema and Theater Department, attended the Arab Artists Union meeting in his capacity as Head of the Iraqi branch of the Syndicate and Vice President of the Union. The meeting was held as part of the activities of the 4th Hurghada Youth Film Festival in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Also present were the President of the Arab Artists Union and Head of the Egyptian Cinema Professions Syndicate, Mosaad Fouda, along with numerous members and representatives of the Union from various Arab countries.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed a range of topics and issues related to developing Arab artistic work and strengthening cooperation and coordination among syndicates, unions, and artistic institutions in Arab countries. The aim was to support Arab artists and enhance the level of shared artistic and cultural achievements.
Representatives from several Arab countries participated in the meeting, including Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. This participation reflects the Union’s commitment to unifying efforts and strengthening professional and artistic communication among Arab artists.
