Baghdad: Boca Juniors defeated Central Cordoba 3-1 in their match today, part of the ninth round of Group A in the Argentine Football League. Boca Juniors secured the victory thanks to a brace from Angel Romero in the 5th and 56th minutes, along with a goal from Enner Valencia in the 11th minute. Martin Coutinho scored Central Cordoba’s lone goal in the final minute.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, with this victory, Boca Juniors raised their points tally to 14, securing fifth place, while Central Cordoba remained on 7 points in fourteenth place. In another match, Defensa y Justicia defeated Gimnasia Mendoza 2-0, with goals from Leandro Fern¡ndez and David Barbona in the 11th and 57th minutes, respectively.

Defensa y Justicia climbed to second place with 17 points, trailing V©lez Sarsfield on goal difference, while Gimnasia Mendoza stayed on 16 points in third place.
