Washington: US President Donald Trump asserted that the war between the United States and Iran will end “soon.” Speaking to reporters, Trump remarked on the current status of the conflict and its potential resolution.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump expressed confidence in the situation, stating, “We have very strong control over the Strait of Hormuz.” He emphasized the impact this would have on global oil prices, saying, “Oil prices will drop significantly when the war with Iran ends.” The president further commented on the diplomatic dynamics, noting, “Iran doesn’t want to make a deal with us, and the Houthis don’t want to fight us.”
