Erbil: The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has confirmed its support for the federal government’s measures to investigate the recent attacks on oil pipelines in Saudi Arabia. In a statement released on Saturday, the KRG condemned the attacks and reiterated its commitment to the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the KRG emphasized its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating, “We condemn the attacks targeting oil pipelines in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we affirm our full solidarity with the Kingdom and our commitment to its security and stability.” The statement further underscored the KRG’s support for the federal government’s efforts to investigate the incidents, identify those responsible, and ensure they are held accountable.

The KRG’s statement also highlighted the importance of Iraqi territory not being used as a base for threats or attacks against neighboring countries. It stressed that respecting sovereignty, fostering good neighborly relations, and prioritizing dialogue and cooperation are essential for safeguarding Iraq’s security and stability, as well as enhancing the region’s overall security and stability.
