Kirkuk: The Arab and Kurdish bloc in the Kirkuk Provincial Council has announced its full support for Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha. The bloc emphasized the importance of maintaining security and stability in the province, as well as fostering coexistence and partnership among all communities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Arab bloc stated in an official announcement that their support is a unified stance against any attempts to misrepresent facts and create confusion. The bloc highlighted the need for a balanced partnership and the rights of all communities in the administration of Kirkuk.

Additionally, the Kirkuk bloc, representing the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, reiterated that Kirkuk’s rich history and unique character make it a symbol of fraternity and cohesion. The bloc stressed the importance of working with responsibility and partnership to maintain harmony among communities, prioritizing the province’s interests.

In light of increased media rhetoric and reciprocal campaigns, the bloc urged that differences in viewpoints should be resolved through legal and institutional means, avoiding media escalation. This approach is seen as crucial for the benefit of Kirkuk and its people.

The bloc reaffirmed its support for Governor Mohammed Saman Agha in fulfilling his duties lawfully, believing that supporting responsible governance and respecting powers will enhance local government stability. They called for an end to mutual media campaigns, advocating for dialogue and institutional channels to address any concerns, preserving Kirkuk’s unity and focusing on serving its people.
