Babil: In a significant push to enhance educational infrastructure, Babil Governor Ali Turki al-Jamali inaugurated several new schools across the province on Saturday. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the education sector and tackle overcrowding in existing schools.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor al-Jamali announced the opening of a prefabricated school in the al-Amir neighborhood of the al-Hashimiyah district and the al-Hawraa School in the al-Hamza al-Gharbi sub-district, both equipped with 18 classrooms and laboratories. Additionally, the Hamil al-Liwaa School in the Khaykan area (Albu Rukhais village) was unveiled, featuring 12 classrooms and laboratories. Another prefabricated school was launched in the al-Tali’ah sub-district, also comprising 12 classrooms and two laboratories.

Governor al-Jamali reiterated the local government’s commitment to reducing school overcrowding throughout the province by continuing to expand and upgrade educational facilities. This development aims to provide an improved learning environment for students and enhance the quality of education in the region.
