Basra: The Deputy Governor of Basra, Maher Al-Amiri, honored national karate team player Hussein Mohammed Ali for his achievement in securing the bronze medal at the Asian Karate Championships held in Amman, Jordan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony was attended by the national team coach, Ali Abdul-Amir Jamil, who was present to appreciate the player’s accomplishment and his contribution to elevating the status of Basra and Iraq in Asian competitions. The recognition of Hussein Mohammed Ali underscores the significance of his achievement in the regional sports arena.
