Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina won the US Open tennis title after defeating defending champion Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus 6-4, 5-7, 6-2.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, with this victory, Rybakina secured her third Grand Slam title and cemented her rise to the top of the world rankings.

She became the third player this century to win both Grand Slam titles on hard courts in the same year, joining Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and Angelique Kerber of Germany.
