Al-karkh: Al-Karkh achieved its first victory of the season, defeating its guest Duhok 3-2 in a match held Sunday evening at Al-Karkh Stadium as part of the seventh round of the Iraqi Premier League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Duhok took the lead with a penalty kick in the 38th minute, successfully converted by professional player Henrique. Al-Karkh’s professional player, Mamadou Nanga, equalized in the final minute of the first half. Duhok then took the lead with a second goal by striker Younis Hammoud in the 49th minute, but Nanga returned to equalize again in the 63rd minute. In the 82nd minute, Ibrahim Tanida snatched the third goal for Al-Karkh, securing three important points with a 3-2 victory.

Al-Karkh raised its tally to 4 points but remains at the bottom of the standings, while Duhok’s tally remains at 8 points in ninth place.
